Oregon mall gunman kills 2, then himself

Onlookers gather outside the Clackamas Town Center mall, near Portland, Ore., where the shooting occurred. (Bruce Ely / Oregonian / December 12, 2012)
A masked gunman stormed into a crowded Portland, Ore.-area mall Tuesday, shouting, "I am the shooter!" and opened fire, killing two people and seriously injuring a third before killing himself, authorities and a witness said.

Christmas music was playing in the Clackamas Town Center when gunfire erupted, one witness told local media. Another said the mall Santa had to drop to the floor to take cover. More than 10,000 shoppers were in the 185-store mall at the time, officials said.

Some witnesses said the gunman used a rifle, but authorities did not confirm what kind of firearm was used or whether the assailant had more than one. Responding officers fired no shots, authorities said.

At a Tuesday night news conference, Clackamas County Sheriff Craig Roberts described the injured victim as "a young lady at the hospital fighting for her life right now."

"The mall's supposed to be a place where we can all take our families.… These things aren't supposed to happen," Roberts said.

Austin Patty, 20, a Macy's employee at the mall, said the gunman wore a white mask and body armor as he ran through the store and into the mall's central court carrying a rifle.

"He was trying get to the mall to do a mall massacre," Patty said. "It didn't seem like he wanted anything to do with" the department store.

Before the gunman finished saying, "I am the shooter," Patty said, "the shots took over."

Officials believe the gunman acted alone. A sheriff's spokesman said Tuesday night that authorities were still trying to confirm his identity. No victims' names were released.

Alina Pavlenko, 16, was working at Fabulicious Cupcakes on the mall's second floor when she heard shots. At first, she said, she thought it might be firecrackers. Then she saw a man in a mask, walking slowly and firing a rifle at random.

"And he looked my way and he shot toward me, and then I realized it wasn't a joke," she said, her voice still shaky hours later.

She ducked behind a chair, the teenager said, then bolted out of the mall.

"I kept running out and I kept hearing gunshots over and again," she said. As she fled, she saw a woman lying on the ground.

More than three hours after the 3:30 shooting, authorities were still clearing the mall, which encompasses more than a million square feet and includes Nordstrom, JCPenney, Sears and 20 theaters.

Customers and employees who couldn't get out took shelter throughout the mall, which police were evacuating room by room.

Nicole Mason, 18, of Vancouver, Wash., said she was in the Things Remembered store next to Macy's on the lower level of the two-story mall when she heard a loud shot outside the store.

"We heard a really loud bang, and at first it sounded like something had dropped or something had shattered," Mason said. "About 15 seconds after that first shot, it was bang, bang, bang. At least 20 shots were fired."

Seth Benson, 20, of Camas, Wash., was with her. When Mason dropped to the floor, he jumped on top of her.

"All I'm thinking is, 'Comfort her,' so I laid on top of her and told her it was all going to be OK,"

The Things Remembered manager told shoppers to head for a back door behind the register, shouting, "Go!" the witnesses said.

Benson said he helped a man with a prosthetic leg get up off the floor as he was being trampled. They reached the chaotic parking lot within 45 seconds, Benson and Mason said.

Shaun Wik, 20, said he and his girlfriend were taking a break from Christmas shopping in the food court. He had just opened a fortune cookie that said, "Live for today, remember yesterday, think of tomorrow."

As he read it, he told the Associated Press, he heard three shots. Wik and his girlfriend fled as seven or eight more shots rang out.

"If I had looked back, I might not be standing here," he said.

Youssef Ibrahim, 26, of Milwaukie, Ore., said he heard the shots as he was about to take an escalator down toward Macy's from the second level.

"As soon as I heard the gunfire, I turned around and started running," Ibrahim said. "Some people saw me running and just started running. ... Panic, pandemonium, people running; I ran for my life. Literally, my wallet fell out. Thank God I have my phone on me."

No one was safe — not even Santa.

Bob Schwab, a World War II veteran, told the Oregonian that he was "by Santa Claus in front of Macy's and we heard, 'pow, pow, pow.' People screamed and ran. I saw Santa drop to the floor" to take cover, he said.

The mall Santa, Brance Wilson, confirmed that but offered a comforting note to his young fans.

"Santa will be back," he said. "It's not going to keep Santa away from the mall."

Jenni Rivera Killed in Plane Crash

Singer Jenni Rivera was killed in a plane crash shortly after takeoff early Sunday.

Mexican authorities confirmed Sunday evening that the wreckage of the small plane had been found in Nuevo Leon state, and there were no survivors among the seven people believed to be on board.

The Learjet carrying the 43-year-old performer lost contact with air traffic controllers after it took off from Monterrey, Mexico, at 3:15 a.m. following Rivera's concert there. Contact was lost about 60 miles away, Mexico's transportation ministry said in a statement. It was scheduled to arrive in Toluca, outside Mexico City, before sunrise.

Rivera, a native of Long Beach, Calif., was known as the Diva of Banda with over 20 million albums sold worldwide and recently named one of People En Español's 25 most powerful women.

She was also the star of I Love Jenni, a reality show that aired on Telemundo's mun2 documenting the singer's jet-set life as an entertainer and mother of five children. It also featured her publicist, lawyer and makeup artist, who were all on the plane with her.

Earlier this month, ABC tapped Rivera to star in her own show. The self-titled comedy, Jenni, would feature her as a strong, middle-class, single Latina woman working to raise a family using unique parenting skills, reported Deadline.

Bishop Oyedepo Reacts “We Did Not Build Covenant University From Tithes And Offerings”

He said,”the last time Church paid my salary was December 1987, nobody heard it, not even the Ministers in the church until 1997 and church members didn’t hear this until 2007″.
Again he said: “In January of 1988, my wife asked me of money for feeding and I told her I had give my salary to God, and that was the last time she ever had to ask for feeding til date” He again queried whether anybody has ever been approached by him for any form of financial assistance?
He also shocked the people accusing him and church of using poor people’s money to build universities that themselves can’t afford to send their kid when he said; “Covenant university was built within 7 months without any collection of any one naira tithes and offerings or donation of any kind from anywhere”
My question to you then is where did the money come from to build the University?  because I know God did not miraculously send money down from Heaven for you to build the University.

Jacintha Saldanha, Nurse duped by prank phone call about Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

British nurse Jacintha Saldanha found dead in suspected suicide two days after she was tricked into revealing condition information about pregnant Kate Middleton to Australian shock jocks.

Police officers walked outside King Edward VII Hospital on Friday, a day after Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was discharged

Saldanha's lifeless body was found the same week she accidentally put prank callers Mel Greig and Michael Christian through to another nurse, who divulged private information about the Duchess of Cambridge. The prank call to the King Edward VII’s Hospital employee infuriated Buckingham Palace and led to taunting tweets from DJs that brag about the trick.

One of the hospital nurses punked by two prank-calling shock jocks into divulging details about Kate Middleton’s pregnancy — igniting fury in the Buckingham Palace — is dead after a suspected suicide.

Jacintha Saldanha's body was found Friday morning just yards away from King Edward VII Hospital, where the Duchess of Cambridge was recently treated for extreme morning sickness, British media reported.

The married mother of two was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating how Saldanha died, but at least one source suggested suicide.

Her death comes two days after a hoax in which she was duped into revealing personal details about Kate’s hospital stay by Australian radio hosts Mel Greig and Michael Christian. Greig, pretending to be Prince Charles, and Christian, posing as Queen Elizabeth, called the private London hospital inquiring about Kate. Fooled by their accents, the receptionist transferred the tricksters to another nurse, who divulged that the mom-to-be was “stable at the moment” after “retching” from a nasty case of hyperemesis gravidarum.

Mel Greig and Michael Christian, right, from Sydney's 2Day FM duped staffers at Kate Middleton's hospital using hackneyed impressions of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.

The stunt was heard worldwide and Kate’s family was reportedly infuriated by the “shocking breach of security.”

Before news of Saldanha’s death, at least one royal saw humor in the prank — Prince Charles.

“How do you know I’m not a radio station?” he joked to reporters who asked him about the Duchess’ pregnancy.

The prince went on to say he’s “thrilled” to be expecting a grandchild. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are "deeply saddened" by Saldanha's death, they said in a statement to BBC News. After boasting about the prank on Twitter, accounts for Greig and Christian, hosts of the 2 Day FM show in Sydney, have since been deleted.

The radio station has not yet returned the Daily News’ request for comment.

The hospital said its “telephone protocols are now being reviewed.” On Friday, hospital officials held a press conference, where the chief executive John Lofthouse described Saldanha as a "first-class nurse" and a "much-loved and valued colleague." “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies at this time are with her family and friends," Lofthouse said. "Everyone is shocked by the loss of a much loved and valued colleague.”

Kate Middleton was released from the hospital Thursday. A day later a nurse who was duped into helping to reveal information about the Duchess' condition was found dead in a suspected suicide

The hospital also released a statement.

"It is with very deep sadness that we confirm the tragic death of a member of our nursing staff, Jacintha Saldanha," the statement read. "Jacintha has worked at the King Edward VII’s Hospital for more than four years. She was an excellent nurse and well-respected and popular with all of her colleagues.

"We can confirm that Jacintha was recently the victim of a hoax call to the hospital. The hospital had been supporting her throughout this difficult time."

Rapper Rick Ross Cancels North Carolina Concert Dates Following Death Threats

Rick Ross' album may be titled God Forgives, I Don't, but it looks like he's found another group of guys that aren't quick to forgive, either. After an ongoing beef with a group that call themselves the Gangster Disciples and a recent death threat video from the North Carolina chapter, Ricky Rozay and the Maybach Music Group have reportedly pulled their concerts that were scheduled in the Tar Heel State this weekend. The MMG concert tour, headlining Ross and featuring Wale and Meek Mill, was supposed to make a stop in Greensboro on Friday, and the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte on Saturday. Tickets will be refunded starting Friday, the Live Nation Entertainment group said in a statement. The rapper started having problems with GD after he mentioned their imprisoned leader, Larry Hoover, on his track "BMF." Additionally, Ross put his face on the 6 point star for his Bar Mitzvah mixtape, which is a symbol the Gangster Disciples use."We pressing up on you, the whole Maybach," the Georgia chapter said in a video from October. "We ain't going to release this pressure on you until you release this check, Maybach, Meek Mill, everybody G. Nothing personal, but tell your boss man he got to get that check 'cause y'all in trouble."

Rick Ross' camp was not immediately available for comment.

Did Iyanya agreed to dumping Yvonne Nelson?

A fan tweeted "you must be a fool for dumping Yvonne for Tonto...Omugbo yo nii?? Yh. It's that painful!" The singer replied "thanks"

Does it mean he's accepting that he dumped Yvonne?

Snake on a Plane – For Real – Forces Emergency Landing

In a scene that played out like the plotline of a Samuel L. Jackson movie, some not-so-precious cargo made its way onto an Egypt Air flight. Yes, there was a snake on a plane.

But unlike the 2006 thriller Snakes on a Plane – in which Jackson takes charge on a reptile-rife voyage – the smuggled snake didn't cause any fatalities.

A 48-year old Jordanian man snuck the Egyptian cobra onto the 90-passenger flight from Cairo to Kuwait on Monday. After the snake bit him and began slithering through the aircraft, the plane made an emergency landing on the Red Sea in the resort town of Al Ghardaqah, reports The Jordan Times.

The man, identified as Akram Abdul Latif, ignored doctors' suggestions to wait 24 hours in a hospital for observation. (According to wildlife experts, reports CNN, cobra venom is lethal enough to kill a full-grown elephant in three hours or a human in 15 minutes.)

The original flight finished its trip later on Monday morning after authorities confiscated the cobra, and Latif made his way to Kuwait that night.

Perhaps snakes are frequent flyers: Earlier this year, a golden tree snake slithered its way onto a cargo plane in Australia.

Kate Middleton Carrying Twins?

When Prince William and Kate's official announcement that she is pregnant came Monday, the palace said she was "expecting a baby."

But in light of the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge is also suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a form of acute morning sickness, there has been growing speculation that she may, in fact, be expecting twins.

According to the National Institutes of Health, the Duchess's rare condition tends to appear more often in women carrying twins.

So what would it mean for the royal family if Kate, 30 – who was discharged from the hospital Thursday – were to deliver two little royals? A pair of heirs?

Nope, royal experts tell PEOPLE. In fact, it's all a bit complicated.

The firstborn twin would have a completely different path than his or her sibling, says royal historian Robert Lacey, author of The Queen: A Life in Brief: "The first child to appear will have precedence. Whichever one comes out first will be the heir – and it will be the call of the obstetrician if there is a caesarean section."

And the obstetrician will make that delivery based on the location of the babies during labor, Mark Johnson, Professor of Obstetrics at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, tells PEOPLE.

Says Johnson: "If delivering vaginally, the first baby to enter the pelvis will be delivered first. If delivering by c-section it very much depends on the which baby is closest to the incision, generally that will be the lower of the two babies."

A year ago, the British government voted to modernize the rule of succession so that in the event of twins, a firstborn girl would not lose the title of heir if a boy were to be subsequently born to the royal couple. But that rule hasn't been implemented yet.

Under the current law of the land, says Lacey, "If the twins are a girl first followed by a boy, the boy will be next in succession."

When or if the law is changed, adds Lacey, "the boy would be ousted by his sister."

If Kate is pregnant with twins, William, who will surely be present for the births, will be able to see firsthand which baby is born first. But in the past that wasn't the case, adds Lacey.

In other eras, "the Home Secretary was on hand in the hospital to ensure there was no foul play," says Lacey, "since there were fears that if the firstborn turned out to be a girl, she might get swapped for a substitute baby boy – and smuggled into the bed in a warming pan."

Keira Knightley In Duro Olowu – Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

Keira Knightley made a guest appearance on the ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ show, taped at the Rockefeller Center in New York City yesterday evening. The British actress was not only there to promote her new movie ‘Anna Karenina’, but she also squared off with Jimmy in a guessing game that tested their musical prowess, as they played songs on random instruments. Opting not to wear one of her favoured brands (Valentino or Chanel); she wore a Duro Olowu Spring 2013 dress.

The Nigerian-born,London-based designer is known for his powerful patchwork, and his disciplined eye for splicing bold prints together. This was put on full display with this beautiful dress which Keira styled with Bottega Veneta platform shoes. As a lover of bold prints I’m salivating over this look, but I have a feeling this will not be favoured by everyone one. The only thing I don’t like are those heavy platforms. Do you like this change of pace from Keira? Or is there too much print going on for your liking?

Subway Killer In Custody After Man Is Pushed to His Death in Manhattan

New York City police have a suspect in custody after he allegedly pushed another man to his death in front of a subway train in Manhattan on Monday.

Ki-Suck Han, 58, of Elmhurst, Queens, was shoved in front of a Q train at the 49th Street station at around 12:30 p.m., according to NBC New York. He was later pronounced dead at St. Luke's Hospital.

Witnesses said the suspect had been mumbling to himself before getting into an argument with Han on the platform.

After being pushed, Han tried to climb back up on the platform but was struck by the train before he could make it to safety.

One witness videotaped part of the verbal altercation and turned the tape over to police, which released it publicly in an effort to identify the suspect.

New York Police Department spokesman Paul J. Browne tells the New York Times that the suspect was apprehended a block from the subway station where the incident occurred. Although he has been placed under arrest and is undergoing questioning, Browne says the suspect will not be identified until witnesses can be gathered and a lineup conducted.

Kate Middleton Pregnant! Royal, Prince William Expecting First Baby!

Kate Middleton is pregnant! No, seriously, for real this time. While speculation of Prince William's royal heir kicked into high gear last week, St. James's Palace this morning confirmed the worst-kept secret in England, and announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first baby.
The signs were all there—check out the hints of Kate's pregnancy!
"Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the palace said in a statement this morning.
No doubt intending to keep this highly public news as private as possible, there was no word on whether Kate and Wills are expecting a boy or girl, or a possible due date for the little royal, though as an announcement has been made, she's clearly past her first trimester.
Kate Middleton revealed the hints of a baby bump last week!
The palace did announce that Kate was "in the very early stages" of her pregnancy, however, and today was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London due to suffering hyperemesis gravidarum—in other words, acute morning sickness. She's expected to remain in the hospital for just a few days and will rest at home after. "The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news," the palace said. As is the world at large and those in favor of the continuation of the monarchy, we're guessing. Congrats!

30 New Planes to be acquired by Nigeria as National Carrier, and Remodelling and Construction of New Airports

As part of the remodelling exercise going on across the nation’s aviation industry, the Ministry of Aviation has disclosed that it is strategising to get 30 more aircraft as a deliberate intervention to make air fare cheaper and affordable to the common man, and aviation business more profitable to the nation.

General Manager, Corporate Communications, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Yakubu Dati, who disclosed these in Jos, the Plateau State capital,  while inspecting  construction works going on at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, added that the ministry is also considering Aerotropolis, where cities would be built around airports; such that hotels and conference halls are built around the airports to cater for accommodation and business meetings.

He added the airports would therefore no longer be terminal points only but places where economic activities would thrive. Dati said the various improvement that have been seen with the remodelling exercise is in consonance with the order received by the Minister of Aviation Mrs. Stella Odua from the President to bring back the aviation to where it rightly belongs, and to put Nigeria on the map of aviation by restructuring, renovating and remodelling most of the airports, after which five new international airports would be built.

He said most of the airports which were built about 30 years ago have seen deterioration and lost touch with the recent modernisation in the world of aviation, adding that the remodelling is a deliberate intervention to bring in new investors. Dati added that the Jos airport will be specially equipped with facilities to preserve perishable cargoes, having been chosen as one of the six airports designated as terminals for perishable and non-perishable goods.

He said the choice of Jos was in consideration of its great potentials in terms of agriculture: “We have a land that is good for growing most agricultural products like apples, and our people here are mostly farmers, and we look at a situation where farmers can bring their products to this terminal and fly them out to Germany, America, and Europe. That in itself will empower the farmers and strengthen the economy and increase our GDP as a nation.”

Going round the project, Dati said “the capacity of the Departure Lounge is 350, Arrival Lounge is 250, and the VIP is 150 to 200, and there are about 24 toilets, 17 restaurants and large bars.”The site engineer, Wasiu Lawal, who conducted tour round the project in the company of the Airport Manager, Mr. Jim Opotu assured that with adequate fund, the work will be completed in no distant time.

Some Nigerians like to copy the Gay Westerners.....This is not our culture or tradition

James Onuoha (real names withheld) a banker, is a product of both Western influences and the traditional cultures of Nigeria. Academically, he’s a Western, having acquired his first and second degrees in financial management in an American university at his prime. But emotionally, he is swayed by age old superstition and the traditions of his people.
When the time comes for him to get married, James bowed to family pressures, and chooses a girl from among his own Ibos, leaving his mistress of many years behind in Lagos. But the lucky bride, Obiagali, whom he finally chooses, is tied to the apron string of the primitive curse of the village gods. Undeterred by this chilling discovery, James, together with his wife to be, agreed to go through a curious and sinister ritual to secure her release so that they can marry. Ironically, at the climax of the purification exercise to extricate Obiagali from the grip of the village gods, she died in a mysterious circumstance.

Disappointed at the tragic death of his heart-throb, James was thrown into pensive mood. Two days after, he left the village unannounced to resume his work in Lagos. All appeal by his parents and kinsmen to take another girl in the village as replacement for a wife fell on deaf ear, rather, James opted to remain a bachelor. He ignores emissaries sent by his parents to rescind his decision to remain single despite the enormous wealth at his disposal.
Events happen so quickly in James’ new life. Just one day, he chances upon an old friend. After exchange of pleasantries, which revealed their new status, the friend invited James to a club party – gay club which he obliged.
That party changed James’ life as he gave in to overtures made at him by men lovers. Right from then on, James has a man lover, perhaps as an escape route to bury his ugly past.
Bad news, they say, spreads faster than disease. James has defined a life style for himself. He’s a gay – married to a fellow man. A kinsman who visited the village from Laos broke the news to James’ father.
“Have you heard?” he questions James’ father rhetorically.
“What is it, my son?”
“Your son, James is now married to a man in Lagos. He leaves with him in his house. Though, he tells people and neighbours that the young man is a friend. But he was kind enough to disclose the truth to me,” he said.
“Abomination!” the old man exclaimed in disbelief.
“So the story is true. For sometime now, my son, James has become a song for drunkards and a subject of whispering gossips at both the village square and beer parlour. See what city life has done to my son,” he lamented.
But James is just one of most Nigerians who indulged in this abysmal practice of homosexuality with impunity.
The story of Chinwe, a Nigerian lesbian based in Britain who flew into Nigeria to advocate the legalisation of homosexuality is still fresh in our minds. At the public hearing in Benin, Edo State, the self confessed Lesbian (Chinwe) wept profusely before the gathering why homosexuality should be enshrined in Nigeria’s constitution as a way of life and an infringement of their (homosexuals) fundamental human rights if their agitation is treated with levity.
Nigerians marvelled at the impudence and shamelessness of her face saving remarks. They variably winced under the biting sarcasm her comments elicited. But the last sentence, they found very exasperating as villianeous tongues of women in the vicinity lashed out with a sting that was too painful for her to bear.
Chinwe who was sandwiched by armed police officers, was taunted and teased but stood her ground.
Also, a male popular Nigerian musician was reportedly caught in the act with a renowned male entertainer. Though, the musician refuted the story, threatened to sue the newspaper for defamation of character, however, buried his head in shame when photographs, showing his clandestine affair were published days after the story was reported. That singular publication, however, sealed the lips of the musician and hairy entertainer lover.
John Amaechi, a basketball player in the NBA made a revelation of the plight of gay athletes in major league sports. In his book, titled, Man in the middle, Amaechi exposes the institutionalised homophobia inherent in the hyper-masculine world by American professional athletes.

Though, his exposure was greeted with avalanche of criticisms, but Ameachi was undeterred as he went ahead to openly discussed LGBT issues as well as encouraging other gay athletes to pursue their dreams irrespective of their shameful life-style.
These days, Nigerians who indulged in the illicit practice no longer operate under cover. They make bold to demonstrate their gayness by trying to initiate unsuspecting Nigerians into their fold.
Reverend Rowland Olajide Macaulay is a Nigerian Apostle of gay. His nefarious activities and a gay church was exclusively reported by Saturday Vanguard barely a month ago.
His church called House of Rainbow, was located at No. 36/36 Yakoyo Street, Ojodu Berger, Lagos and has become an abode for established gays and initiates.
According to the gay man of God, “my church is a voice of the younger generation of citizens, activists and diaspora, and our collective belief in a more progressive Nigeria. They are afraid of our growing influence as we gather allies not just from the West, a people that are not afraid but powerful and resilient.”
“Religion,” he observed, is a backbone to life in Nigeria, so, we all want to go to church. But we don’t want to lie to God about who we are.”
Macaulay who established his House of Rainbow in 2006 where he openly held Sunday services in an hotel hall in Lagos, decorated in rainbow colours however abandoned the church after a public backslash which culminated in manhandling of his members. He fled to the UK after he received death threats from unknown persons.
But Saturday Vanguard’s investigation shows that the man is back on the trenches. This year, he has recruited a small team which includes among others his local leaders in Lagos.
But for Mrs Josephine Adebayo being a lesbian was a choice she made following the neglect of her husband’s nonchalant attitude towards her.
Narrating her ordeal to Saturday Vanguard at her Victoria Island residence, Mrs Adebayo said lesbianism has offered her the romance the husband denies her.
“You may not belief it except you try it, lesbianism is more intriguing than most people thought. Though, I was hesitant to accept it when one of my good friends initially talked me into it. But today, I’ve every course to be grateful to her. Besides, my lover woman is so good at it,” she confesses.
A 21 year-old man, Adisa was almost lynched recently at Amukoko, a suburb in Lagos for sodomising teenagers for rituals. According to residents in the area, Adisa who was reverend as a man of God was caught in the act with one of the teenage boys in the area but he escaped through his back door. Also, a Nigerian gay was reported in one of the social medias as being married to a German lawyer and later divorced him.
Okechukwu, another Nigerian gay is currently operating a gay entertainment company in Abia State. Okechukwu however, disclosed that the main preoccupation of his company is to provide gay dancers and entertainment services for private parties and business functions.
But Anthonia Okorodudu (not real names) said she was introduced into lesbianism in a girls’ `, secondary school in Ughelli, Delta State.
According to her, the senior students usually had them as bunk-mates only to start fumbling with them when night falls. “At a time, the exercise was disgusting. First, I can’t imagine a fellow woman kissing and dipping her finger into my virgina as well as fumbling with my breast,” she said.
Today, Anthonia who later graduated in lesbianism has become mistress in the game.
“I’ve introduced many other notable women who suffer marital problems into the game. I must confess that they are enjoying it. Though, it’s a personal life style, hence the identities of such persons cannot be easily disclosed,” she said.
But Ethel who also attended an only girls secondary school in Enugu attested to this fact.
According to Ethel, “sometimes, your lover can ditch and abandons you in the cold. Under such circumstance, we insert candle into our virgina to get the desired erotic satisfaction. “You know, the edge of a candle stick looks more like a male’s organ. But there is a way of going about this,” Ethel reveals.
Similarly, Andrew Adewusi who attended an only Boys Secondary School in the North, said boys indulged in all manners of acts to derive erotic maximum satisfaction.
Till date, most of those boys who were caught in the act of gay in school refused to dump the illicit act. They are already neck deep in it,” he said.
Common features of
homosexuals
Though they are not easy to be identified but they possess peculiar traits which set them apart from ordinary persons.
Just like gigoloes, men who indulge in the act are generally fashionable and possess the carriage of a woman.
They are usually meticulous of their looks. Some of them wear ear-rings, fanciful plaited wrist watch and some finger rings.
Also, some of them use make-up as eye pencil and even apply lip-sticks.
They use feminine voice (emotional) whenever they are making overtures.
What thrills them in the fellow men, is guys with robust back side.
For Lesbians
Some of them prefer to look like a Tom-Boy. They dress like men but at the same time, stay away from men. Often times, they go in pairs and belong to one social club or the other.
They are usually society women who are into big time business. Musicians and politicians fall prey to such advances.

Pregnant woman was left to die at Garrison Clinic in Port Harcourt because she couldn't afford the Hospital bill

A pregnant Nigerian lady has died because doctors in Port Harcourt insisted the husband must pay N20,000, less than $150, before she was treated. And her family members are still in shock about her death, such that they are not even thinking of burying her for now.

The 34 year old woman, Ijeoma Umumadumere, nee Ahamefule, was rushed in the morning of 25 November to Garrison Clinic in Port Harcourt, when she complained of a sudden stomach pain and headache, while cooking. Her husband rushed her to the clinic on Udom street in the oil rich city. It was between 9-10 a.m. And she was five-months pregnant.

But doctors and nurses would not attend to the pregnant woman because the husband only had N5,000 on him, instead of the N20,000 being demanded, as a precondition for treatment. Even the N5,000 the man had on him had been used to offset registration and other costs.

Her brother, based in Austria could not understand why doctors in a Nigerian hospital could have so callously and uncaringly treated the woman, pregnant with her first child. As he put it:

“Her husband begged the doctor and the nurses to attend to her since they had collected about N5, 000 he had in his pocket in the name of registration and other little things while he would go home and bring money. He had also told them that because of the nature of the emergency and the way his wife had been shouting while on the ground that his mind had only been pre-occupied with the thoughts of rushing her to any nearby hospital and had not thought of money or any other thing as he had even forgotten to put on shoes, but all his pleading and explanations to the doctor and the nurses had fallen onto deaf ears. With her pains increasing and death knocking and the doctor and the nurses refusing to understand, there was no way he could have left her there unattended, to go home and bring money. He took her and headed to another hospital, but unfortunately my sister did not make it as the damage had already been done before the doctors in that second hospital could do something reasonable to save her life.”

“What a country, what a failure and what a loss! This is a sad story of the sorry state of the Nigerian health policy, how Nigerians are heartlessly and carelessly neglected because of money by doctors and nurses to die in hospitals, and how I lost my sister to a failed system,” wrote Uzoma Ahamefule, based in Austria.

Many hospitals in Nigeria, both private and public, are in the habit of asking for pre-payment from patients, even when the case is an emergency (PM News)
